The quickest and most comfortable way
You can reach Costa da Caparica hotels by taxi in around 20 minutes, unless it is the rush hour (on working days after 5PM). We recommend you to buy a Taxi Voucher to Costa da Caparica (29,09€ for working days rides, 34.90€ for nights, weekends and holydays). These vouchers are on sale at the Turismo de Lisboa counter, located in the Arrivals Hall and should be given to the taxi driver for paying the ride. The full price table can be found here.
Much cheaper, but slower ways
There are several distinct hypotheses to reach Costa da Caparica hotels by public transportation:
H1: (working days only)
- Take the nr 5 bus to direction “Estação Roma-Areeiro” at the Airport and get out at the last station (timetable);
- At “Roma-Areeiro” train station take the train to Pragal (working days timetable; weekends timetable). This is a nice ride across the “25 de Abril” iron bridge;
- At Pragal take the TST bus nr 124 to Costa da Caparica (timetable);
H2: (all days)
- Take the nr 44 or 45 buses to direction “Cais Sodré” at the Airport and get out at bus stop “Estação Entrecampos” (timetable 44; timetable 45);
- At “Entrecampos” train station take the train to Pragal (working days timetable; weekends timetable). This is a nice ride across the “25 de Abril” iron bridge;
- At Pragal take the TST bus nr 124 to Costa da Caparica (timetable);
H3: (all days, if you like boats)
- Take the nr 44 or 45 buses to direction “Cais Sodré” at the Airport and get out at the last station (timetable 44; timetable 45);
- Go to “Cais do Sodré” boat station and get the boat to Cacilhas (timetable). This is a beautiful crossing where you can see Lisbon skyline from the river;
- At Cacilhas get the TST bus nr 124 to Costa da Caparica (timetable);
